I wanted to make a train set based on the Railway Series story "Tobys Vintage Train" for those who have read the story it only consists of Toby the tram engine, Henrietta, and Victoria. but on Wilbert Awdrys Farquar's layout, there is a small Luggage coach that is known as Elsie. so like a few others, they add this character to their set. most places her at the end but some will put her behind Toby, though it looks a bit odd. I will admit, it is a bit on the small side. in the future, I may scale it up a bit to be the same height as Henrietta.

I have provided both a Faceless and Non-Faceless variant of the van for your liking. I don't have any wheels for printing. I recommend using scaled 33" wheels. if you go for larger wheels they may get stuck or require modification to the model.

If you want some info on the GER Wisbech and Upwell Tramway Luggage Van. look here ( https://www.lner.info/co/GER/wisbech/stock.php ). it will be near the bottom with info.

if you are looking for a coupling you can use this one below, or you can use a Bachmann or Hornby coupling.

(updated 1/5/2021; I added a V.2 that attempts to make Elsie the same heights as a Bachmann Henrietta same wheels are used and may make a V3 some time for 36" HO/OO wheels)

Post-Printing

assembly

you will most likely print this in 7 parts

  • Chassy
  • Box
  • Roof
  • BuffersX4
after printing, you will want some paper clips ruffly about 0.8mm in diameter. you'll cut it to be ruffly 4-6mm long you will use these to help support the buffers to the box there are holes for this. if you want a hook coupling I've used paper clips of the same type. you can bend the clip to your liking or leave it blank. note if you put a hook there's a chance other couplers could interfere when being pushed.

if you have access to some I recommend wights for the van. this will help way them down. I used large fishing wights.
