VAX Blade 3 or 4 Dust/Dirt Container Lid Catch.

This is a Replacement, Modified Dust/Dirt Container Lid Catch. For VAX Cordless Blade 3 or 4 Vacuums. (May fit other models)

The original catch only has a bendable plastic return spring which broke on my VAX Blade 4, allowing the lid to open, spilling dust etc.

My modification uses a metal spring from a clothes peg. A little bending may be necessary.

Please check the dimensions of your finished print before attempting to fit, due to differences in the original injection mouldings, a little trimming may be required. The clip is a push / click fit into the original dust container. Don’t use too much force, you may crack the original container.

This Part is not available individually from VAX, only as part of a complete Dust/Dirt Container Assembly.
