Raised Wrist Rest Stand

A wrist rest that is lifted up off the table. Works well with angled trackpad lifts and many custom printed keyboards.

After building my own custom split keyboard, it felt weird that my trackpad was so much lower. I found lift for the trackpad but there weren't any good wrist rests that were at a matching height, so I designed this.

The idea was to have an organic feel, maybe a vaguely 70's conversation pit vibe. I have used these for 4 years now and recently re-printed them in colors to match my setup, instead of the various sample filaments I used for the first one.

I highly recommend gluing these together using silicone glue as it's the only thing that will hold the silicone gummy rests these are based around, and it works really well on the printed parts as well.

Parts:

The pegs are used to align the top and the bottom. I recommend gluing those together first, then worrying about the gel top, as it's too many things at once otherwise.
