A tissue box cover that comes in two variants: with a sliding bottom lid or with an open bottom. If the bottom of the box is visible where you place it or you want to remove the tissues from the cardboard box, you can use the one with the sliding bottom lid, and if you simply want to put the cover over the tissue box, use the version with the open bottom. As it is parametric, even if your desired size is not available, you can just change the parameters to fit your tissue box perfectly!

Printing settings

All parts print in the default model orientation without supports.
The sizes in the downloads always refer to the size of your tissue box and are in the format of length x width x height.
For the sliding bottom version, print each tissue_box_cover and tissue_box_cover_lid file in the given size once.
For the open-bottom version, only print the tissue_box_cover_open_bottom once.
I recommend a layer height of 0.20 mm, but others should work as well.

If you post a make, please mention which size and version you printed, along with which brand of tissue box you use. If you changed any parameters please include them as well. This will make it easier for others who are interested in printing this for themself!

The print in the picture was made using Eryone Red Yellow Blue printed on a double-sided textured PEI plate.

Assembly

The open-bottom variant simply slides over your tissue box.

To close the variant with the sliding bottom lid, slide the lid into the cover with the beveled edge on the side of the lid facing forward:

Parameters

You can modify this design in Fusion 360 (the free version is enough) using parameters to make it fit a variety of different tissue boxes. Download the Fusion 360 design file, open it, and then you can change the parameters by clicking on Solid \u2192 Modify \u2192 Change Parameters.

You will need to most likely only change the following parameters to make it fit your tissue box:

box_length, box_width, box_height \u2192 measure the size of your tissue box and set it to mm
opening_length, opening_width \u2192 measure the largest length and width of the opening of your tissue box (where you pull out the tissues) and set them in mm
opening_radius \u2192 defines how round the opening of the tissue box is, you may want to experiment with different values here and see what looks to be fitting the best. Higher values will at some point result in a full circle and at some point, it will even be a rounded rectangle.
