hi, I'm printing the 220mm scale version. But some of the files are missing, the middel golden ring that is placed on lower inset ring. Also the lower inset ring is not available.
@Kevyn3D Hey! Sure thing, sorry about that - should have it now - it's called smaller gold ring.stl in the 220mm folder, also included in the gold rings.3mf multi-model file. Sorry, the naming is sort of all over the place right now I've been iterating like crazy as new details come in about the prop. Check the files, I've added some updates to the glyph discs and rings as well. Good luck with your build, can't wait to check it out!
@BillD_602770 i'm her again - the compast post don't fit and it's to big. I checked the other files and those are the same size. But i resized it, will let you know. Also the compass is not available but als rescaled it to the correct size
@Kevyn3D Ah, right on - should be 72.93% from the src_files. The last few I've done, (69.04% for the 200mm build, 77.97% for the 230mm build) the compass post was extremely tight going into the box, it did fit but I usually had to hit it with high grit sandpaper first. I figured it might have just been me using cheap filament but if you are seeing it also, I might need to scale it another tenth or so on the x and y. Also, I added some box-glyph details that I'm hoping can be added after the fact to that inner bowl area but I'm pretty sure the scaling needs work on that model as well. It crashed Shapr a few times because of the number of objects, I suppose. I'm printing a test now to see. I just added the missing compass to 220mm - thanks for the heads up! (edited)
@Kevyn3D I just uploaded one called compass post - SmallerTest - I'm curious if it will fit better without falling out. I was trying to find a size of engagement where it would fit in the lower box without glue but be removable in the event of future model innovations.
@Kevyn3D Nice! I dig the color - is that Antique gold or a more traditional gold? Looks really metallic in the photo, which I like personally. I know the Disney Parks model is a little more stone-like in construction but I'm almost positive the film model will still be more metallic, bronze-age. (edited)
