stampata senza supporti

Tougher print for my MINI but came out great. Would recommend adding a brim, the camera corner came off a bit making that edge a bit tighter than it should be

@Lopatka_921 I did use TPU (Filatech D40 black and blue - I used 2 colors because I customized the back. Extra risky). I used the smooth sheet because I wanted the back to be smooth, but because of the adhesion it was a glue print (I'm likely to use glue and the satin plate if I reprint. The glue makes it look scuffed up right off the plate). I've included the photo as a warning to others not to use glue and the smooth sheet (it will print fine but needs post processing at the very least) =)

@mikebad_576502 Wow, that is pretty nice! And I could see that being a real challenge. It is a very impressive print with the text done the way you did it. I've never been a big fan of the smooth sheet, but that was the only option when I had my Prusa MK2 and when I first got my MK3. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the textured sheet, and even more thrilled with the satin sheet. The satin sheet may be one of the most underrated sheets available. I'm not sure why more vendors don't make something like that. Although I destroyed one side recently when my PINDA probe hit part of a print I was doing in PETG and I didn't realize that the probe moved up a little. The nozzle made a nice engraving on my satin sheet on the next print before I could stop the printer. Stupid PINDA (OK, stupid me,) at least it has two sides.

Printed with no top and bottom layers

@CalebTimoteo I really like how that looks! It still gives all the protection, uses less plastic, and looks great. Thanks for sharing, and thank you for the rating!!

Hi, would it be possible for you to make a version for the 12 pro (without max)? Thanks & best wishes! (edited)

@itsleon I'm sorry, but I only have the 12 Pro Max and I don't have access to a 12 Pro. I'm sure that I could attempt one based on spec, but I would not feel comfortable posting it without putting it through tests for proper fit. I had to make a few minor adjustments to this one after I designed it and used it for a few days. I just bought a 13 Pro for my daughter as a Confirmation gift, but taking an iPhone away from a 14 year old girl for even a minute is risking life and limb!

@Lopatka_921 Hi, thanks for the fast reply! I understand that taking away a phone from a kid can be lifethreatening. But if you ever decide to design one based on specs, i would be more than happy to test the fit for you. Best wishes!

Dimensions are slightly off for the 13pro max but works in a pinch till my case comes in the mail (edited)

Are there Supports only for the charging Port? or is it necessary for all the edges? (edited)

@Plastikschmiede I'm not sure I completely understand your question. Are you asking if supports are needed? I did use supports when printing, but TPU is a strong material that requires some force to remove from the print. Fortunately, since TPU is strong, it does not damage the print while removing them. As for the supports on the edges, they are not needed on the outside because I always use a chamfer (not a fillet,) but I did use them inside the print because of the needed overhang to keep the case attached to the iPhone. I try to design prints that do not require supports, and have been pretty successful with that. But making something that fits something else is a challenge since that 'something else' is usually not designed with 3D printing in mind. So supports are needed for this case.

Thank you very much! I love the design, but my charger with magnet doesn't work due to the thickness, I think. So I'll remix in near future.

I designed remix version of your design. Please check it!

Very nice! I like how you changed the openings for the charger and speakers a lot. This is something that I should have done on mine and may make a new version. I really enjoy seeing what people can do to my designs, and this was a great modification. Additionally you were able to reduce the amount of material used by making it thinner, which is always a good thing. I may not change my new version to be thinner because I like the protection that the ticker deign provides the lenses when putting the iPhone down on the desk. But I do understand the need for a thinner back so it can be used with the mag charger. Great work!

iPhone Base Port is wider for TPU Filament. It make overhang for me.

Tried printing this with full support and the support is very tough to remove especially the bottom where the top is very thin due to the notch over the power port. Printing TPU 95A. Any suggestions?
