Universal Motor to DYNAMO

This model is a modification you can do to convert an universal motor ( in my case from a washing machine) to convert it to a fully DC motor with fixed magnets. This also converts it into a dynamo, wich can convert circular motion into electricity, (making tests i was able to get 10 volts ataching the bicicle wheel to the motor)

CONSTRUCTION:

Obiously, you will need an universal motor, i don't know the specific name but they can be found on wahing machines. And also a microwave, to extract the magnets

1. Dissasemble the microwave until you only have the magnetron

      2.CAREFULLY dissasemble the magnetron to extract the two magnets (IMPORTANT NOTE: the magnetron has dangerous components, if you wanna do this project you have to do research of how to dissasembly safely a magnetron)

      3. if you want you can repeat the steps 1 and 2 to get a total of 4 magnets

      4. Print the case and put the magnets on it 

      5. Dissasemble the universal motor and change the iron central part with the 3d printed case with the magnets.

      6. Connect the cables and have fun!
