I am still fascinated by tiny LED lights and how to use them in jewelry. My designs are not meant to be refined pieces, but fun accessories worn to informal parties, maybe only once. When I wear any of these pieces I receive many smiles and compliments. They are fun! They stand out even when you are wearing a mask.
I am going to try to add designs for other holidays and celebratory occasions such as birthdays and National Jelly Bean Day. Meanwhile, light up your ears with these.
These were all printed with PLA on the Prusa mini with detail or quality settings and brims. Support is needed for the star and the pumpkin. The lanterns do not require support, but they were printed with a modifier block to expose the fill which gives them a more interesting texture. They can also be printed without the modifying block.
The designs are made so that the LED lights can be removed and turned off or replaced.They are lit with these little lights I found on Amazon:
