Description

PDF

The included holders for the Neo Flow are just a smidge too small for normal rimmed tanks, so I made this. It fits my 10 gallon rimmed Aqueon tank perfectly.

Needed Materials

2 x M5 Nuts

2 x Plastic M5 screws (included with Neo)

2 x Plastic Nuts (included with Neo)

1 x Pipe Clamp (included with Neo)

I tried making the threads the same, but was unable to, so you will need 2 M5 nuts per holder.

The plastic screws included with the Neo pipes will work with M5 nuts.

Print Settings

Layer height: I printed mine at 0.3mm on its side but it was hard to insert the nuts (had to use pliers to press them in). I recommend at 0.2mm printed nut side down with supports.

Material: Recommend using PETG for strength.

Installation

  1. Insert the 2 nuts into the holds of the holder
  2. Thread through the plastic screws.
    • Optional: It might help to first threads a normal M5 bolt through to remove any plastic.
  3. Make sure the screws don't stick out into the inner part of the holder yet
  4. Place the holder onto the rim and line up the thin rimmed portion
  5. Start screwing in the plastic screws until you have a snug fit
  6. Place the pipe holder included with the lily pipes and use the plastic nuts as well to secure the pipe. This step is the same as if you were to use the included holder the pipe comes with.
