Please note: the fan mount has to be printed mirrored!
These two parts allow to mount a BTT Octopus V1.1 or Octopus Pro to a MDF (or similar) plate including a 80mm cooling fan on top.
The cooling works very well. It brings the formerly 60°C, measured on the stepper drivers, down to a acceptable 35°-40°C.
Most of the connectors are still accessible when the fan is mounted.
Hot insert 4 M3 threaded insets into the base frame.
Then, screw the base frame to the base plate using four small wood screws (2-3mm diameter, length depends on the thickness of the base plate). Place the mainboard on the base frame and wire up the board. Eventiually, secure the board with two M3 screws temporarily.
Now, attach the 80mm fan to the fan frame and screw the fan frame on top of the mainboard using four 30 mm M3 screws.
