Crab who holds nothing

This crab does not hold pens, definitely cant write since hes a crab. You don’t need supports for this.

Used adaptive layer heights with smoothing which worked really well on the top but some troubling spots on the flat chamfers. Great model - thank you!

thanks for making a version for knives for me :)
(sorry, I made him hold a pen for this one...) (edited)

I tried everything I could to make it hold something and it refused. I had to take this shot quickly as it kept dropping everything I placed even in one claw. 10/10 would print again.

Printed at 100mm/s with 25% gyroid infill and 0.2mm layer height, in PLA without supports on an Ender 3 S1. He is obviously amazed by the unknown object but as he is a crab who holds nothing, especially not pens, he neither knows what it is nor what to do with it.

I printed out my newest desk accessory on a Mini+ using Prusament PETG at .20mm on Quality setting in Slicer. Using the standard fill, next time I would use lightening fill. No supports, no skirt.

His face gives me the energy to keep working.

Before I run this through with some silk PLA, does it need supports? Cheers! I'll post an update once completed.

@Taubin_83992 I printed mine with no supports using blue silk PLA from Amazon Basics

As advertised, here he is NOT holding a pen.

Printed using an Anycubic Kobra and Amazon Basics Silk Blue PLA
