Storage bins and tool holders become 3000% more accessible when they have a subtle lean applied.
The kickstand fits within the base of any gridfinity box and stays neatly tucked away until deployed. The kickstand gives a '1x' box a lean of around 30°, and a ‘2x’ box around 18°.
It won't benefit all your boxes; but anything that spends a long time on your desk or workbench may very well benefit from a kickstand.
To use, simply replace the bottom 4.75mm* of any gridfinity template with the kickstand. You could even add multiple kickstands to larger templates. The kickstand prints in-place; no assembly required. A notch helps to keep it stowed away when not in use - you may need to apply a little force to free the kickstand the first time you use it, but it'll soon loosen up.
I've successfully printed using Cura's ‘low quality' settings, with 2 walls and zero supports.
*if using the default bin xy tolerance of 0.25mm
