3/14/24: Updated the Metric holder: Added a slot for a #12, adjusted the key tolerances to fit more smoothly than the original, and cleaned up the F3d file (However, the F3d still has some issues when attempting to re-adjust keyhole diameters).
-------------------
Foldable Hex Wrench / Allen Key Holders:
- Metric holds 14 keys
- SAE holds 13 keys
This is modeled after the foldable holder that came with my Wera Hex Plus sets, which only hold 9 keys each. I wanted something similar to hold all of the sizes that I have.
Please Note:
- Tolerances are tight. I printed with a .6 nozzle at .2 layer height. Test prints with the same nozzle and .3 layer height had slightly different results. I suggest using the “Slice Test” files first to dial in your printer before printing the final holders.
- Holders are printed in TPU with 100% infill for extra rigidity (and also in case of the need for very slight carving adjustments with an Xacto Knife). I printed horizontally and used supports.
- Latch should use a rigid filament like PETG. No supports are needed if printed vertically. It is small - 100% infill does not use much filament.
- Fusion 360 and/or STEP files are attached in case you need to make adjustments.
