The building that I work in uses door handles that have a lock that engages with a twist lock. It also has door stops that mount at the knob level – the ones that are essentially a rubber ring mounted on the wall. Unfortunately when the door stops were mounted, they weren't aligned properly with door knob. This means that when the door is opened, it is very likely to hit the door stop in a way that engages the lock, unbeknownst to the person who opened the door.
This is very problematic when one doesn't have a key to unlock the door.
Since I don't NEED the door to be locked, I made this to put over the lock to keep it from hitting the door stop.
I printed this in PETG, but only because that I what I had loaded.
Print with the flat top down. If you use a slicer that supports it, you'll probably want to paint some supports on those ears.
