The link for the wago connectors is dead, any chance you have the sizes or model so I can check Amazon?
@bikr_2472619 ahh i see the link is dead, thats a shame. I managed to find them online (only on alixpress again...
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHFvY8h ). The closest thing i can find on amazon etc are "wago wire connectors", but they dont come in 4 way connectors in my country (Netherlands) unfortunately, maybe they are present where youre from?
@bikr_2472619 For a more in depth tutorial i can recommend this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOEnFKLm9Sw . The wires are soldered to the ESP32 pins (red = VIN, black = GND, Green/data = TX2 (aka GPIO17)). The guy in the video also refers to a soldering tutorial if you are knew to this :).
Attached a picture of the inside of the case with wires, and a wiring diagram of how i have everything connected. Power goes into both sides of the led strip, because im using a 5 meter long SK6812 RGBW led strip which requires a lot of power at that length (otherwise one side of the led strip will be visibly brighter than the other side). Anything under 3 meters or regular RGB will just need power at 1 side. Data (green) is just provided at one side, which is how WLED controls the colour of the leds.
I'll update the post with this information. Reach out again if you need more help or information!
Great fit! Had to cut the model slightly because my esp32 has an usb type c port.
Where are the terminals from?
@Mecky1963 i bought them from here: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuRvnEX
