PDF

A scabbard attachment for the michtill's Folding Collapsing Katana in Thingiverse. It uses 3D Printy's Spring Latch to connect each scabbard piece.

Due to the print size of my Ender 2 Pro, I was only able to print my katana in 70% scale, hence I was only able to test the scabbard in 70% scale. I'll include 2 separate folders for the 70% and 100% scales.

Snap Latches for Scale 70

The Snap Latches for the Scale 70 pieces uses M2x6mm screws.

Snap Latches for Scale 100

The Snap Latches for the Scale 100 pieces uses M3x8mm screws.

Scabbard Lid

This part locks and connects directly with the lock of the katana. When connected to the katana, the katana may wobble a bit since it only locks on one side.

Scabbard  Belt

This is a variation of the Scabbard piece that has attachment points on the sides to place snap latches to connect with the Belt Attachment piece. Expect that the scabbard will hang 30 degrees from the horizontal.

Belt Attachment

This piece will hang your scabbard on your belt. It has an opening of 47mm x 6mm. Each folder has their respective Belt Attachment piece for the proper size snap latch.
