Originally inspired by the Pokeball planter and the remixes, I made a version as a tissue box holder. This one was modeled from scratch in Fusion 360 and made to have a bit better printability than the planter.
Requirements
- >275mm build area (will not fit on Prusa MK or Prusa Mini printers! Will fit on a Prusa XL)
- Tissue box needs to be less than 235mm x 120mm x 65mm
- Need a weight like M5/M8 nuts
Build instructions
- Print all parts and 2 x white_button.stl
- Glue white_button.stl to black_center.stl middle sections with circular inset
- (Optional) Fill black_center.stl pockets with weights, such as M8 nuts. Fill to the top so that they don't move too much.
- Apply glue to inside red_top.stl walls and push on top of black_center.stl. It will be a tight fit. Note: The red_top.stl and black_center.stl parts are designed to be a single lid – heavy enough not to move when pulling out tissues.
- Place tissue box on white_bottom.stl
- Put top of tissue box over tissues
- Done!
Print settings
- 0.2mm layer height
- 20% infill
- 150% first layer extrusion width (Optional, helps for printing black_center.stl)
- 4 outer perimeters
- 4 bottom layers and 4 top layers
- No supports required
Updates:
2022-04-06: Increased chamfer on center_black.stl to help reduce elephant's foot
