If you use Fusion360, then you probably know that its text tool is a bit flaky. I have a lot of free fonts from the web that Fusion360 refuses to extrude or emboss, because “reasons.”
This is a simple tool to work around this, by generating text using OpenSCAD that can then be imported in Fusion360. After configuring and rendering the text, export the results as an SVG file then import the SVG in a sketch.
Because this method prevents you from using the “text on a path” feature in Fusion360 (unless you know something I don't), I made sure to include support for text on a circle.
Update v1.1 2023-04-05: Added a horizontal scaling option.
