The Idea:

idea and design by my good friend @just__sophiaa
fancy sword housing a full set of Roleplay Dice
self aligning and closing lid using magnets

Design Process:

after her general design, I added the alignment and magnet features

pins in the bottom and indent in the top hold the two halves aligned

the handle houses magnets on each side, in addition to one pair in the tip of the sword

6 pieces of 5 mm x 2 mm Magnets (example)

Assembly:

if you want to add the magnets, you'll have to insert them while printing before the openings get closed
I had the printer run a bit slower and placed them mid print, you can also add custom gcode to initiate a pause
remember the magnets polarity, so all are the same and the top and bottom half attract each other after everything is closed up
