Presenting you the aerodynamically designed hand launchable glider.
The design incorporates features favouring adequate lift, lower drag and yaw…providing a stable flight to the glider.
It is to be printed as separate parts and pasted for use. The parts should be printyed with a very low layer height and wall settings without much solid infill for getting a hollow light weight print.
The wings have a frame mesh inside the structure, printing it hollow without an infill provides a firm light weight aerodynamic shape.
Specifications:
Layer height : 0.03 - 0.1
Retraction settings should be included.
Features:
Airfoil with a projected rear end provides lift and prevents drag, Parabolic wing curvature helps adjusting the center of gravity within the confines of the wing, raised wing ends stabilises flight, bullet shaped fuselage prevents drag.
Use:
Hand launched, lifts itself on hot air, can be attached with propulsion systems like with a BLDC motor propeller or simple flight control servo systems.
