I found other models of desk cable grommets, but none that I liked were for a 76mm hole saw (which is a standard size included in many cheaper hole saw sets in the UK). So I modelled this one while making new desks for our children.
You don't have to use the insert (see photo of one I've used in my workshop without a grommet).
I recommend printing both parts upside down, with an internal brim for the grommet and an external brim for the insert.
The examples in the photos were printed on an Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus in eSun ePLA-Matte black and ePLA-Matte white. They were both printed with a height of 0.08mm for the first 0-2mm, to create a smoother definition on the visible faces once inserted, with the rest of the object printed at 0.20 mm.
Tip: I also printed these in quick succession with a 3 loop skirt @ 10mm (to help clean the head away from the nozzle) and a 5mm brim.
