Summary

I designed this dice container to resemble a wooden box. It has 4 individual hinged drawers that can hold up to 3 dice each. Additionally, the top storage is designed to fit standard 1" base miniatures. All drawers and lid stay secure using magnets.

Build Instructions

  1. Print Details
    1. PLA
    2. Print with back face down.
    3. No supports.
    4. Brim if needed.
    5. 0.2mm layer height
    6. 15% infill
  2. Pause the print after initial magnet slots are fully printed.
  3. Insert 4 internal magnets with glue.
  4. Resume print.
  5. Pause print before front face is printed.
  6. Insert 4 drawer magnets with glue. ***Make sure to check polarity***
  7. Resume print.
  8. Insert remaining 4 magnets for lid with glue.
  9. ***Optional*** Mark or paint inset lines of box details.
  10. ***Optional*** Attach handle or shoulder strap.

Material List:

  1. PLA (I chose a light brown to look like a wooden box)
  2. QTY 12: 6mm x 3mm circle magnets
  3. Super Glue
