I printed the front with supports, even though it should be fine without. You can block the supports for the magnet hole on the bottom of the tower.
I printed the tower with and without supports. Both function the same and there isn't a loss in quality. However this can deviate from the material and/or the printer you use.
Infill pattern:
You can use any infill pattern you wish!
Printing Temperature:
The settings I gave are the temps I personally use with Esun PLA+. This can deviate from the material and/or the printer you use.
Used Printer: Creality Ender 3 v2
Measurements
The measurements of the fully closed storage are 100*100*47.3 mm (length*width*height).
The measurements of the miniature compartment are 74*38*38 mm (length*width*height).
Magnets
You will need 9 magnets total that have a diameter of 4 mm and a thickness of 3 mm.
Dice_Storage_Top and Dice_Storage_Bottom each need 4 magnets.
The underside of Dice_Storage_Tower has a hole for a magnet too. This way it won’t fall off Dice_Storage_Bottom when you roll a dice.
The holes for the magnets have a tight tolerance, you will need to push them hard to be able to fit. If you want you can also use superglue.
Optional
You can use a piece of foam (max 2 mm thickness) to protect the inside of the Dice_Storage_Bottom. Everything will fit as intended. The bottom part will also hold up without the foam, so it is a personal preference.
You can also use a piece of foam (max 2 mm thickness) to protect the top of the miniatures. You can place this piece in the section of the Dice_Storage_Top. This is also a personal preference and not necessary.
I hope you enjoy the Storage System and have a lot of fun playing your DnD sessions (or other tabletop games).
