Remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799012

Allows housing for both HC-SR04 and HC-SR501 for when you need both motion and distance detection. It also fits a small microcontroller in the rear, though you will need to use glue or blu tack to fasten it down. The microcontroller I used was the TinyS3 but any microcontroller of similar size will work: https://esp32s3.com/tinys3.html

I used this for a project that allowed me to make my office smart lights stay active, only when I was at my desk: https://github.com/chrisjtwomey/esp32-motion-lifx

If you wish to mount this to a monitor, I suggest printing the following parts:

  • FOR_MONITOR-monitor-mount.stl
    • need to be adjusted depending on the depth of your monitor.
    • glue to the bottom of the monitor cradle
  • FOR_MONITOR-cradle.stl

You can tweak the files for yourself here https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hxcDVDLWbq1
