A set of clamps that can be used to fit an aftermarket display to a Taito Vewlix arcade machine.
The monitor I used was a LG 32GN550. Other similar LG monitors may fit. If you print them and find out yours doesn't quite fit then let me know and I can make adjustments.
The top and bottom clamps have 1mm and 2mm shims that can be used to vertically adjust the display position inside the monitor frame by +/-2mm. I have not added any adjustment to the horizontal side clamps as they fit my monitor perfectly. Again, I can adjust this or make similar shims if required.
The holes are modelled to 3.5mm which when printed with my MK3s+ leaves a nice size hole for a 4mm machine screw to cut it's own thread. Personally, I added M4 brass inserts so I opened the holes out to 5.5mm to suit my inserts. As I was opening the holes out I added a larger infill modified cylinder to the modelled 3.5mm hole to ensure there is plenty of material left for the insert. See the 3rd picture.
I used 10mm x 1mm self adhesive foam to line the inside of the monitor frame. I then used an additional two pieces; one on the back of each clamp and one on the monitor which resulted in a nice snug fit.
Note: This will only clamp the display to the monitor frame. You will still need a method of mounting the new assembly to the cabinet.
