Complex model, with mechanical parts beyond the printed ones. No programming skills needed, basic knowledge about Arduino desirable.
As designed, the cutter is quite large (can be downsized, of course), and the frame rigidity using plastic “legs” is limited. As there are no forces acting during the cutting, this represents no actual issue. If you wish to add rigidity, use metallic corner stiffeners (not shown on the model).
Alu profiles, pulleys, rollers, bearings, bolts, nuts: specified in DesignSpark model (rsdoc file);
Laser: Scuplfun S9 (you can use any similar laser of your choice, just adapt the mounting holes);
Control: Arduino UNO + CNC Shield, grbl and LaserGRBL;
Steppers: Nema 17
