Hello there,
having seen so many playing card boxes, I had to make one myself, because I felt I could improve on the designs I saw around.
The lid of this box closes nicely and doesn't get loose on its own. To achieve this you do have to do one manual postprocessing step. And this is to undercut the locking tab like shown in one of the photos. I made this not 90° by design.
I also do one pass with a deburring tool around the outer edge of the fist layer, but that's just my perfectionism kicking in. This edge:
I designed this to be printed with a 0.6 nozzle @ 0.3mm layerheight, but a 0.4 nozzle also works. Keep in mind to check the letters on the bottom, because they indent by exactly 0.3mm, to achieve the desired look. So you're better off using 0.15mm layerheight, but do as you please.
I also added blanco files for a UNO Stack and for a Byclicle deck (single and double). These have additional 0.3mm on the Lid, so you can label it yourself with the new prusa slicer 2.6 by substracting the them.
The Fusion360 file has everything you may want to change embedded in parameters. These workes for me, you may want so tune the tolerances
Have fun! So long and thanks for all the fish!
