This set of objects is part of the components of a frame. These parts were specifically designed for the frame of a 3D printer.
This frame uses 3/4" x 3/4" aluminum extrusions. The thickness of the extrusions is 1/16". 3/4" is about 19.05 mm.
In order to build this frame, you will need:
8 or 16(*) 8-32 x 1 1/4" machine screws with their nuts
For this specific build, X = 500 mm, Y = 400 mm and Z = 450 mm.
Some tabs with pilot holes are included in order to attach an enclosure. The tabs add 10 mm. The screw tabs are 12 mm in length. So, 17 mm is added to the length of the extrusions, 34 mm for both sides. 54 mm if the enclosure attachment tabs are added.
These parts are very easy to print. No support material is needed.
Some add-ons will be published soon under separate things. The end result will be a 3D printer with a build plate of 200 mm (W) x 300 mm (D) x 300 mm (H).
(*) If used with the "Corner Bracket Orthogonal Part V2" instead of the original ones "Corner Bracket Orthogonal Part". The new design gives a little more stability.
You can add to the frame some adjustable foot available at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/42994-adjustable-foot-for-34-aluminium-extrusion
