A wall bracket to reinforce and stabilize the Function Home Tree Bookshelf (9 shelf version) available on Amazon. Compared to factory design of a single hole that may or may not align with a wall stud, this allows the shelf to securely mount to the wall with less worry from the unit ripping away when under stress (think earth tremors, too many books, climbing cats, etc.). This is especially true when there are baseboards on the wall in question because the shelf has to lean back in order to be secured by a single screw leaving quite a bit of force being applied as the number of items on the shelf are increased.

I have included a parameterized FreeCAD model for user customization along with a basic 3mf Prusa Sliced file for getting started right away.

Printing instructions

You can use the included 3mf file in PrusaSlicer, which has the model properly positioned and the modifier geometry added and parametrized. It can be printed in PLA or other desired material. If you want to slice it yourself, load the included modifier geometry and assign 30% triangular infill.

Modification Instructions

The CAD file is in FreeCAD with parameters for screw hole size, wall depth, etc. Feel free to modify as needed for your specific application.
