The model consists of two parts:

  1. right foot holding the docking station and the ThinkPad
  2. left foot which attaches to the thinkpad only

The right foot has a hole to access the power botton. The Lock for the key and the Kensington Lock is blocked by the design. You have to slide the foot onto the docking station from the side.

The left foot covers the USB port on the back partly, but you can still use it by sliding the foot a bit aside.

The docking station and ThinkPad have a clearance of at minimum 80 mm from the cable connectors to the ground wich allows you to connect even bulky connectors like VGA into the ports. You can even use extended battery packs. It might work for a variaty of ThinkPads starting from the T410 upwards to T460. But I do not know for sure since i designed it for the T430 and the Mini Dock Series 3 (Type 4337 20V, 4,5 A).

It takes 125 g of filament to print with 15 % infill. The duration for the print on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon is 3:25 hrs including bed levenling and extrusion calibration.

Please show me your makes!
