I resized the logo to a reasonable size for a keychain (64x25mm) and slightly changed the shape of the logo to archive a better printability. The border of the frame is now consistantly 2 perimeters wide.
Print-Instructions
- print with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layerheight
- Print the inlay first
- select a version that is suitable for your printers accuracy
- i used the version without tolerances and it has fit snugly into the frame
- Print it “as is” (upside down) for nicer (smooth or textured) surface.
- slightly sand the last layer so it is even
- Select one of the frames
- the normal ST-frame
- or the connected frame for a sturdier print
- Add a print-pause at 2.6mm to insert the inlay before printing the last 2 layers
- The inlay will then be secured by the last 2 layers - no glue required
Update
- i added 2 versions of the inlay with small tolerances as scaling it on X and Y won't work
