If you have Delta branded bathroom hardware in your tub/shower, then there is a chance that you have the push-button diverter that is relatively small and hard to grab in order to pull it out to switch from using the shower head to the tub spout.
This is a knob that installs on the tip of the flow diverter which makes it much easier to grab and operate, especially when wet.
It prints as three separate parts. In order to install, the inner two parts need to be placed over the tip of the diverter as shown with one of the parts in the photos, and then the outer part can screw over top of the inner parts to lock everything in place. The flats on the back of the knob are there to provide a place to hold the inner parts from rotating while threading on the outside part.
