Swedish Folding Ruler Marking Gauge

Variant of VolkerMueller's variant of the folding ruler marking gauge. This one fits our swedish common types, such as Hultafors brand, which are 17mm wide.

(gap is 17.7x7 mm compared to VolkerMueller which is 16.6x8.4 mm).

Also I added some fillets to the surrounding frame, and on the bottom shaft hole, to make it less promiment for problems with “elephant foot syndrome”.

Model consists of three solids. They print-in-place. Make sure to use 0.2 mm layer height otherwise the gaps become wrong. It requires a little effort to make lever loose, just be tough but gentle on it and massage it a little back and forth when it is released and it is done.

Printing instructions

• Layer height 0.2 mm (important!)
• Material PETG or something sturdier could be a good idea.
• Supports could be a good idea as well. But only on build plate and on the gap where ruler lies (paint support tool).
• To make it sturdier, beef up perimeters to four
• Personally I changed infill to 20% rectilinear. But that might be overkill.
• Also, I added ironing on all top surfaces, not necessary but it gets nicer.
• Included G-codes are with these modifications. I use 0.6 mm nozzle but I have included both 0.6 and 0.4
