My Cars obsessed toddler’s mind was blown when I gave this to him, thanks for the model!

Lots of fun to print and assemble. Be careful if printer produces elephant foot on parts.

Easy to print (PLA eryone gold/purple).

Amazon basics silk PLA gold
200/60 temps
.4mm nozzle
.2mm layers
15% infill
I had to sand off a bit from the wings and the connector to get everything to fit. It was most likely my settings. Thanks for the model!

Exelent!
Silver and marble PLA

This item was exceptionally well designed. Easy to print and easy to assemble. I used the Slicer to add some simple text to the surface and 7 hours later I had an assembled piston cup!

5/31/24 - Since my original print I made some slight modifications on a remix and did a big batch of these for awards at a scouting event. Huge hit. Great model! (edited)

Such an enjoyable project. My wife’s employer puts on in house Trick or Treating for the employees children every Halloween and she happens to be on the decorating committee this year.

The theme is Pixar’s Cars. She made a Finish Line banner, a drag strip style “Christmas Tree” Starting Light setup with her Cricut Maker and said her boss was going to order a few cheapo
trophies fir the kids to pose with for photos.

I knew I could do better and this is the result! They are a big hit and I’m very proud of them.

The silver and bronze are 75% prints and all piston heads are left being able to pivot, just in case any of the dads pick them up. Thought they’d get a kick out of that part.

BTW, the tolerances were spot on with everything fitting quite tightly. I’m not sure where the complaints on the questionable tolerances came from because I certainly could not replicate any issues with the print at all.

They turned out awesome! (edited)
