555 Timer / 8 Pin DIP Box

A scaled up model of a 8-Pin DIP component doubling as a desktop storage box. Inspired by mattstroud design. I have added two new lids perfectly mimicking a NE555 timer and a UA741 operational amplifier (op-amp).

Assembly:

3 Prints required, or just two depending on your printer size (lid and base could be printed together as they are the same colour).

The legs are simply press fitted into the base.

A plain lid is provided for custom text.

Print:

• 1 x Base with black filament
• 1 x Lid black filament with white for the text on last two layers
• 2x Legs A with grey filament
• 2x Legs B with grey filament
• 4x Legs C with grey filament

Legs are printed sideways with support to provide greatest strength. Base is printed up side up and same for the lid. This is to have the best surface finish and the relief text, support is needed.
