Hello everybody,

this is my designed case for the raspberry pi with a 5 inch display.

The housing is specially designed for the following display: https://www.amazon.de/5inch-DSI-LCD-Resolution-Display/dp/B08YRG27G7/ref=rvi_sccl_2/262-5615155-2922713?pd_rd_w=TtcQv&content-id=amzn1.sym.22019d9a-e205-410a-b337-2be913e3a486&pf_rd_p=22019d9a-e205-410a-b337-2be913e3a486&pf_rd_r=2QN2VNNV6CZD9FM1Q1AN&pd_rd_wg=pj98g&pd_rd_r=eda7ebdf-75fd-4a00-90a7-c5542657d20a&pd_rd_i=B08YRG27G7&psc=1

I have also glued a small 30mm fan into the housing. That is why the square grille is also implemented at the bottom of the model. If no fan is installed, the grille serves for normal air exchange.

If you have any improvements or ideas for the case, please feel free to send them to me. I look forward to receiving your feedback.

Print settings:

  • Printer: Anycubic Mega X
  • Supports: No
  • Layer height: 0.3mm
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Line width: 0.4mm
  • Speed: 60 mm/s

Notes:

You can use any 30mm fan. I used this one: https://www.amazon.de/MakerHawk-b%C3%BCrstenlosen-K%C3%BChlventilator-Schnittstelle-Roboter-Projekt/dp/B071JN6HKM/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=30+mm+l%C3%BCfter&qid=1678650066&sprefix=30+mm+l%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-1

It's not the best or quietest fan, but it does what it's supposed to do.
