I was missing a rod for turning a set of blinds in my house and decided to make one!
This is a modular design so you can adjust the length in increments of 18cm. If you want the shortest length, you only need to print a Bottom Rod and one of the two Top parts (Open or Closed) depending on your blind's mechanism. For longer sizes, print a Middle Rod and Connector for each additional 18cm you would like to add.
All pieces are in the suggested printing orientation. Rods and the Connector are laying down for both speed of printing and strength along the length of the rod. Top parts are upright to give the most reliable shaping.
Minor support is needed for the Open Top part only. (You can turn it sideways to avoid this, but you may risk some slight deformation on the curves)
Depending on your printer and settings you may want to print the Connector and Top parts at 98% size to account for imperfections. I found this still gives a snug fit that doesn't require glue, but your printer may be tuned well enough to work at 100%
