I didnt have a lamp around the house that could place a light bulb where I wanted it. I did have a mic stand with articulation and a 3D printer. This has a small 9.5mm (3/8") threaded portion at the bulb side to match the stem that would normally be on a stand lamp. There is a pass-through of 7mm for a two-wire AC cord to be passed through. The body has a small decrease in diameter over its length (22mm to 19mm) to allow it to friction fit.
I would recommend printing this with 3 or more perimeters and 20% infill for strength. I would also NOT use this with any incandescent or halogen bulb. CFL or LED only for the lower heat output.
