For my application the stock spool holder for the mini didn't work out well. So here we have a side spool holder that I designed to reduce the Mini's overall footprint and make changing filament easy and convenient.
This version has a foot to hold it in place. The foot included is set for a Prusa Mini at stock height. If your mini is not at stock height you will need to scale the Z height of the foot in Prusa slicer to accommodate for the height of your printer. Once you have the appropriate height foot, I would glue it in place with some CA (super) glue.
I also have a design for stock height printers that doesn't need the foot here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/41474-z42-prusa-mini-side-spool-holder
You will need:
2 M4x14 bolts (for the extrusion mounting)
2 M4 3030 extrusion T nuts
1 M4x18 bolt (for the spool Holder rod)

I printed all parts in PLA at .2 layer height, variable layer heights with 3 clicks of smoothing; most importantly 3 perimeters and 25% infill.
For the foot I printed and installed the arm then took a measurement to adjust the foot Z scaling.
