This is a shock mount for the Behringer XM8500 dynamic microphone. It's designed for use with the stand adapter included with the XM8500. It works great to isolate the mic from stand and desk vibrations - it really helps with stand adjustment and keyboard noise!
In the attached photos I've printed it at 0.2mm layer height in ERYONE PETG with 15% infill, but I don't believe any of these settings are significant. The two parts are connected using black hair ties, but any elastic of appropriate length should do.
This is a remix of Ostella3D's shock mount, but the inner ring is completely redesigned to fit the XM8500 and the outer ring is considerably smaller with modifications to fit the XM8500 stand adapter.
Print the inner ring with the larger diameter side towards the build plate - this face has been flattened for adhesion to the build plate. The outer ring should be printed with the flat side towards the bed.
Due to the short tongue the outer ring will only attach to the stand adapter at a 90° angle, but I think this looks kind of cool and it's a pain to alter this part of Ostella3D's STL without a lot of effort, so I'm leaving it as is. Let me know if you go to the effort of extending and thickening this section!
