VW Bus Marker or Tool Holder with Working Wheels (optimized for Prusa Mini)

Disclaimer: I do not take any design credit (nor blame for the flaws) of the original model. I merely tried to repurpose and improve upon it for personal use.

Optimized for Prusa Mini or similar sized bed: all the files are scaled and oriented to make use of all the available real estate (may need to disable skirt to make some files fit).

Here's my change log for this remix:

• 20 larger hex slots to allow for full sized sharpies, tools, etc.
• moving wheels that do not need any glue for assembly
• remeshed to fix all errors in the original files
• minor cosmetic changes (logo, license plate, etc.)
• Version 2 (v2) edit:  the roof attaches to the upper body via built-in pins, upper and lower body and frame attach via included connectors.  This allows assembly using less glue and helps to line up everything neatly.
• If you don't need hex slots/organizer part and just want a toy bus, I've added “solid roof” and “hollow upper body” pieces. They are assembled same as v2 files using the same connectors.

Build notes:

Important: do NOT glue the frame to the body before the wheel assembly (or insert the connector pins all the way in v2) to make sure the “chassis” with wheels works before you do. Due to design limitations, once the frame is glued, the wheels cannot be easily removed.

For the wheels: attach the connector pin “axel” to the frame, snap the wheel into the tire, and attach it all together. The pin is meant to go in tight on the frame side, enlarge the opening or scale the pin slightly if you can't fit it in at all.

Additional printing tips: (advanced users can skip)

Some files need some supports. Default settings use too much and make cleanup harder! Organic supports are not necessary here and use too much space you don't have to spare. I'm attaching a sample support profile that will make it quick and painless to remove (see photo).
