The \u201cB\u201d model variation of this file moves the SD card holder slightly right and adds a 2mm pass-through hole that perfectly aligns with the back-edge of the micro SD card slot. This allows you to release and reset the micro SD card within the P1P quickly - using a straight scrap of 1.75mm filament, 1.5mm allen, toothpick etc\u2026. I'll further refine this in future versions (maybe a button with integrated pusher). But for now this dirt simple solution, is serving its purpose very well on machines that fail to recognize the SD card after a swap and require the micro SD adapter to be engaged and re-engaged.

When operating this 3D printer outside of the cloud print environment and running the good'ol sneaker NET - microSD cards can be a real PITA to deal with!

I much prefer handling a standard size SD card. And one of the few gripes I have with the Bambu Lab P1P, is that it uses a micro SD card. This micro SD card is exceptionally difficult to release from the unit and fumble about with (thanks to sausage fingers no doubt!) Anyways, I tested a few micro SD card to SD card adapters and finally settled on the \u201cCY 10cm Soft Flat Micro SD TF Memory Card Kit Male to SD Female Extending FPC Cable\u201d which is widely available on Amazon, Ebay and AliExpress.

With the proper cable in hand, I set out to design a bezel ring that would incorporate the SD card adapter. After a few iterations with bezel's that were more tightly integrated with the LCD display, I decided that it was best to go with a simple ring that friction fits around the P1P LCD. In this way, if one has already installed their P1P's LCD display, one won't risk damaging the LCD attempting to remove it! This worked out great!!

I suggest printing the model from PETG on the textured PEI sheet. I don't suggest PLA, as you'll want some flexibility when fitting the ring over the LCD. I used Prusament Orange with .2mm layer height and added a lightly textured setting (fuzzy skin). No supports required.

The SD card adapter is installed using a 25mm x 30mm piece of 1.5mm thick double sided foam tape. I had some DUB634 model airplane servo tape laying around that worked great!
