The ‘Switch’'s bottom layer fits between the PCB and plate. I cut the foam in that area. The screw holes are at the north and west sides, and the touch id sensor ribbon cable routes through the northeast corner of this switch and in between the plate and PCB. Designed for Keychron K2 Pro plate and PCB.
The ‘Keycap R5’ has hole switches that align with that of the ‘Switch’. The touch id sensor goes between both pieces. Uses two M2 x 4 screws.
Had both pieces printed by Shapeways. ‘Switch’ was PA12 (SLS)[Versatile Plastic] in white color. ‘Keycap R5’ was also PA12 (SLS)[Versatile Plastic] in white color and premium finish.
