Keycaps work nicely with Gateron switches

The keys which aren't square (2U, 2.25U, etc..) were made using model from here. The face was printed on the bed however, and pushed slightly down to get a flat surface since I'm not a fan of the curvy design.
I had to slightly modify the slots square slots for the stabilisers as a circle however because their square size ended up being too large for my keyboard (MK870) which made it get stuck, however this is an issue with my specific keyboard I'm guessing.
Any reason why they are broken in Bambu Slicer for me?
This is the Camera key on the left and the Headset key on the right. It becomaes a massive pain in the ass trying to repair these in blender
I am trying to print out a set of stabilized keycaps for a standard 60% board but the keycaps don't fit. I have a p1p and I have been trying with PLA, PLA silk, and PETG and it never works. I am using a .2mm nozzle .1mm layers with fully dried and calibrated filament. I also lowered all the speeds and jerk settings. What should I change or do.
how big are the different spacebars? i know that there are numbers but what units are they?
I tried running the gem_full.py script to generate some 1u keys for an ergo board; it prints out a bunch of stuff like it's running, but never outputs files. Any debugging advice?
great print. I had to add some electrical tape in the stem so they keycaps will stay on the switch. Also these keycaps only work with non box stems.
@RyanJohnston_1640474 If you use the keycap_playground.scad directly you can tell it to generate round stems that will fit in box-style-stem switches. The reason why it's not the round type by default is because it doesn't print as well with an FDM printer. They'll print OK-ish with FDM (not as strong but will still work) but they really work best with resin printers.
@Riskable awesome recommendation. Doesn't bother me too much as it can be an excuse to get new switches. lol
@pizzaman_1346583 Ahaha someone actually printed it (other than me; for sending to Chyrosran22). You should take it off and use a card scraper to smooth out the layer lines then sand it down nice and smooth (or print it on its side like you're supposed to with an FDM printer) 👍
Can you make a version of the keys that the icons or written parts go all the way to the other side of the keycap? that way I can print it in multicolor with white or clear and the LED of the keyboard will show throw it.
@MrPresident I'm not entirely sure what you mean but if you open the keycap_playground.scad (in OpenSCAD) you can fiddle around in there in a bazillion ways to put the legends wherever you want (even *inside* the keycap, hidden except when lit from underneath). You can also generate whatever TF legends you want 👍
Printed in matterhackers silky pla with 0.16mm layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle. They turned out well without any supports and fit the cherry mx blues I tried them on without any issues. Next time I probably won't do all silky materials in my print, the logos don't look quite as crisp, but that's on my material choice and not the models.
Would they fit razer deathstalker v2 pro?
