The touch dimmer switch in the original model was overheating and would not work after a few minutes. I suspect the switch is unable to handle the current draw of COB lights (24V @ 15W).
I also wanted the switch near the front to make it easily accessible.
I ended up remixing endpost_B to add a 12mm diameter hole for a latching switch with no dimmer function. Reason is because a lot of the dimmer switches are unreliable and I usually like the light on at full brightness to inspect print conditions.

The switch wiring is straight-forward - it comes with a wiring diagram in the package.
I wired mine so that the ring around the button comes on when the light is on. You can wire it to always have it on.
Note: simply mirror the model to put it on the left side instead of the right side.
