This case is nicely designed and features a the cool little windows for the IR blaster and charging port. However, as much as I love it, I can't use it. The front clip, which is responsible for holding the base and lid together, is far too weak. Because of the Flipper's weight, the case opens when picked up or held by the lid. Additionally, if the case is in a pocket or backpack, even a small amount of pressure on the clip causes it to open, with gravity doing the rest. I've tried printing it in various materials, including PLA (like the grey in my photos), PETG, and ABS, but all have the same issue. Overall, I really like the design and look forward to improvements, especially regarding the front clip.

Printed for a friend's device... Still trying to get the windows right but it's fun experimenting to get them clearer. Looks really nice, thanks!

Printed in Overture Black and Clear PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle, variable layer height.

This is nice and minimal; it's lightweight and thus not as thick as some of the other cases, so it's not bulletproof protection, but it will protect the flipper from minor dings in a backpack or bag.

The case leaves enough room for the silicone case, and without it the Flipper will rattle around a little, so put a piece of foam or rubber or a microfiber cloth in there to keep it quiet.

The window inserts are a very nice touch. Look up the "How To Print Glass" entry here on Printables to try to get them as clear as possible. (Although I certainly have not mastered the trick on my setup.)

Thanks for the model!
