I love my X1C but it is noisy! A lot of the vibration gets conducted via the feet into the shelf it sits on, and thus into the floor. Not so much a problem during the day maybe, but at night it was a real problem. I tried a bunch of different vibration dampers but none of them were designed for this printer and didn't do what I wanted. So… I designed these.
They really reduce the noise level, and they appear to improve the print quality as well. One thing that appears to really help is to allow vertical motion but not side to side. The first ones I made were flexible both vertically and horizontally and that reduced the print quality. These seem to actually make it better.
These were designed for the X1C without the AMS sitting on top (I use a separate shelf for the AMS). They are made so the Bambu's rubber feet sit on them. If you have an AMS sitting on top of your printer that may or may not be too much weight, you'll just have to try it.
Printed with TPU. I use Priline Flexible TPU Yellow - Priline says their TPU is Shore Hardness 98A, but I think the yellow is somewhere between 98 and 95.
Update 02/17/23: added a version for the softer TPU with SH 95A. This version has built in support. For TPU support generated by the current version of the slicer doesn't do what I want.
Update 02/22/23: added a version that is slotted to fit the bottom of the X1C case, instead of going into the rubber feet.
Note; the picture shows these sitting on some wire shelves - the way they fit those shelves was not part of the design, it's just a happy coincidence. I did most of my testing on a flat surface.
