Description

PDF

Two different outer casings, one of which serves as a handle intended for use with an 10x3mm round magnet.

When printing the handle case I suggest you paint on support like I did in my screenshot. That way it is easy to remove and you should be able to bridge the remaining gaps.

I printed mine with PETG and 0.2mm layers.

The bit box relies on some friction to stay closed so there is 2 models of each outer casings, one of which is named ’Tighter’ that has a lesser tolerance. If this is not enough you will have to play with perimeter widths and extrusion multiplier in your slicer and also maybe try with or without Arachne enabled.

Known flaw:

The middle hex bit has a tendency to get pulled up to the magnet when using the handle casing, I really don’t see a way to pass this other than making the handle casing bigger and I don’t want that.

-Alternatively you can leave the middle spot empty.
