Great modification, which should be standard on the 2.4. The only problem is to get the top screw in. The access is limited.

Yea, it is a little tough to access the screw unless you have a ball end hex wrench. Check out my filament sensor for this housing, It can be used without the sensor/switch, and has easier screw access.

It is really handy though when used with the delay runout counter macro. Mine is set so that when 400mm of filament is used, after the switch is triggered, the printer pauses and moves the printhead up 25mm then to front center for a filament change. Some folks smarter than me have figured out how to get it to send a phone notification when the filament runs out.

This housing works awesome. The filament moves through the 4mm od x 3mm id tube with almost zero friction.

I can run the Voron with a lower drive roller tension setting than before.

Much better routing than the sock housing.
