Filament Color Swatches Holder for Shipping Container

This is an insert to hold you Filament Color Swatches by orax inside Shipping Container by NasBoc.

As I was looking for a easy and quick to print swatches to keep record of my filaments colors the swatch model by orax was perfect. Then came the issue of holding all of them… So when I've stumbled upon the shipping container looking box by NasBoc I've immediately got to work: rescaled it, printed, assembled. But something was still missing, how to neatly organize them inside? Here comes this Filament Color Swatches holder insert for Shipping Container.

Insert will fill the entire bed of the container but as the opening is a bit narrower than the bottom there are rounded sides on the model to make it possible to rotate once it is put in at an angle.

Printing

Shipping Container

Print at 66% scale in all axis. This gives it the optimal size for the swatches to just fit in the top opening.

• Material: PLA
• Scale XYZ: 66%
• PrusaSlicer preset: 0.15mm DETAIL
• Brim: yes
• Infill: 10-20%

Filament Swatches Holder for Shipping Container (this model)

It is modelled at the scale of the Shipping Container with the tolerances and fillets to make it a snug press fit. So same as the container, print it at 66% scale.

If your printer's tolerances are not on point, you can try printing at 65% scale – there should be enough room in the slots to still fit the swatches (although it may be tight) but it was not tested.
